DESCRIPTION:Max Glanz – Saxophones\,\nAndreas Erd – Guitar\,\nThomas Quendler – Keys\,\nJakob Gönitzer – Bass\,\nJonas Kočnik – Drums \nOrigina1Nerd – the name of the band can be traced back to the past of each band member since they not only share a common affinity for music\, but also for various technical and nerdy matters. Now in the union of the five young musicians the goal was set to compose\, arrange and present unique music. The result of this process is their debut album „Unknown Error“\, a mixture of harmonic concepts and improvisation of jazz\, compositional as well as rhythmic elements of progressive rock\, emulsified with the help of a wide range of sounds of electronic music. Therefore\, the term Progressive Jazz seemed to be appropriate.Their work on „Unknown Error“ also was acknowledged by the Jury of Ton Art Tirol bestowing the band and its musical leader Max Glanz with the Tyrolian Youth Jazz Award 2022.
